Gnarly Berms, Chutes and Booters Welcome Mountain Bikers of All Skill Levels

BLUE MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK OPENS SATURDAY, MAY 13 FOR SEASON PASS HOLDERS AND SUNDAY, MAY 14 TO THE PUBLIC
Pennsylvania’s largest bike park, Blue Mountain Bike Park at Palmerton’s Blue Mountain Resort, opens to season pass holders on Saturday, May 13, and opens to the public on Sunday, May 14, featuring improved existing trails with repaired berms, smoother slope crossings and a bigger road gap.
Mountain bikers of all skill levels can navigate 29 thrilling bike trails, including Ripple and The Swartz – a black diamond, rocky singletrack found off Boulevard and Upper Empire, rated the most difficult jump trail with its large tabletop jumps and large wooden drop. For beginners, Shakedown Street is a wide three-mile-long trail with a gentle grade and easy turns. All trails are serviced by the high-speed Comet Quad Lift.
Tickets are $53 for adults (16+) and $40 for youths (15 and under) and can be purchased online. All riders must wear a certified bike helmet and present a signed release form. Season passes, day tickets, bike rentals and lessons are available.
It’s a great opportunity to take Blue Mountain green season action shots and videos among the scenic Pocono mountainscapes!
Saturday, May 13, for season pass holders and Sunday, May 14, to the public.
Thursday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
