Blue Mountain Resort, situated in the foothills of Palmerton, Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, will host competitive cross country bike racing for Pennsylvania middle and high school boys and girls this weekend. “Big Send at Blue Mountain” races are coordinated by Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League (PICL) and will start with pre-rides on Friday, September 30, and races on Saturday, October 1, and Sunday, October 2.
Blazing the trails of Big Send at Blue Mountain, boys’ and girls’ teams will experience exciting racing challenges providing fantastic spectating and photo opportunities.
Blue Mountain Resort is an ideal location for downhill biking boasting the largest downhill course with 29 thrilling bike trails including its newest trail, Ripple, all serviced by the high-speed Comet Quad Lift.
