Board of Education Chair Thanks NPS Family

Dear NPS Family,

On behalf of the Board of Education I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for what you do for our students, especially during these unprecedented times.

We know that since our closure began you have all done a tremendous job in adapting to the changing needs of the district and community. From our cafeteria workers who are working diligently to provide meals to our kids, our custodial and maintenance staff ensuring that we have clean and safe buildings, our teachers, paras and administrators ensuring that our students will receive the best education possible and our secretaries and support staff continuing to provide the administrative support needed to run our district. You have all stepped up and adapted and we applaud you.

As our closure continues and we move to distance learning we know this will be new territory for teachers, students, parents and everyone involved in education. We know that you are all dedicated educational professionals that are committed to the education of our children and we are here to support you in the ways that we can.

Naugatuck is a community that has always banded together to help one another and we should all be proud of how everyone in our community and school district have stepped up to help one another and those in need.
