Borough Of Naugatuck Provides Construction Project Updates

01/10/2024 - Roadwork in Progress! Construction begins this month on the Rubber Avenue Reconstruction project, funded by the Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program. Work includes roadway and drainage improvements along Rubber Avenue between Melbourne Street and Old Firehouse Road and a new roundabout at the intersection of Rubber Avenue and Route 63.

Pedestrians and motorists are advised to proceed with caution through work zones and observe all construction signs and Police Officer instructions. Work hours will be between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
