'Brazen' Theft Of Vehicle Investigated By Naugatuck Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck Police are investigating the theft of a 2015 Black Audi A5 (CT Reg: AU23947) from Cumberland Farms on North Main Street at about 5:50 PM Tuesday. In the surveillance footage the victim (yellow shirt) can be seen fueling his vehicle when an unknown suspect enters the driver's side of the vehicle and leaves with it, police said.

Furthermore, a newer model white Lexus which is believed to be involved in this incident is also leaving the area.

It is our belief that a brazen daylight theft of a vehicle like this should be disseminated quickly to the public so that you can take precautions when fueling your vehicle.
