BRIGHT LIGHTS – Youth Variety Show

Sunday, August 18 at 2 PM
All Seats Are FREE.
Our original annual variety production called Bright Lights (founded 1993) involving youth ages 7-18 is back.

The philosophy of BRIGHT LIGHTS is that any child who has a desire to be onstage can come and be part of the production. The program is free and they do not have to have any experience singing, dancing or acting – they only need to show a desire to be part of the production. Then, each and every child is given something in the show that is “their” moment and is for their level of confidence– it may only be a line but that one line may have tremendous impact for that particular child. They may have a poem they have written that they would like to put to music, or an idea for a scene, or a desire to choreograph. The show is developed around their talents and creativity where the entire cast works together as a team. No one person is the star or the lead.
PERFORMANCE: Sunday August 18 at 2pm
