Bronko Resigns As Chairman Of Naugatuck Republican Town Committee
Bronko, the Republican nominee for state representative of the 70th House District, said he wants to focus more on his campaign.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Seth Bronko announced this week he will resign as chairman of the Naugatuck Republican Town Committee, however a new chairman has already been elected.
Bronko is the Republican nominee for state representative of the 70th House District. At the committee's regular meeting Wednesday, the former chairman said he wanted to focus more on his campaign.
"It's time to step down as chair so I can put my full focus on the community and my campaign," Bronko said in a news release. "The town committee deserves to have a leader that can devote their full energy to running the party, and as we get closer to the election, I feel it’s best to give someone else that opportunity."

The committee has already elected Dave Williams to serve as its new chairman.
Bronko, who has served as chairman since 2020, also noted he is running for state representative to make Connecticut more affordable, enhance public safety and strengthen its public schools.

"I want my son to grow up in a state he can afford, where he's safe and can get a great education," Bronko said. "I will go to Hartford to fight to make that a reality."
Born and raised in Naugatuck, Bronko attended the local public school system before graduating from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor's degree in business management-entrepreneurship and a minor in communications. He started Bronko Construction with his father after college, and currently works full time in real estate.
Bronko has served on various local boards, including the Finance Board, Naugatuck Economic Development Corporation, Naugatuck Education Foundation, Naugatuck Valley Health District and Naugatuck Youth Services. He lives in Naugatuck with his wife and son.
