CAMELBACK RESORT TO OPEN 2021/2022 WINTER SPORTS SEASON ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 22
TANNERSVILLE, Penn. – Camelback Resort, recently voted one of the “Best Ski Resorts in the U.S. and Canada” in Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, opens its slopes for skiing and snowboarding on Wednesday, December 22; and for snowtubing on Christmas Day! Just 90 minutes from New York City and two hours from Philadelphia, Camelback invites beginners and beyond snow sports lovers to experience all it has to offer for day and overnight trips.
WHAT’S NEW FOR THIS SEASON:
- New Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) system offers hands-free, streamlined and efficient lift access. Season pass and lift ticket holders can load their passes online and go directly to the lift.
- New combined ski and snowboarding lessons for families and groups of friends.
- Recent Low-E equipment enhancements have resulted in producing high quality snow even during marginal temperatures while minimizing the ski resort’s carbon footprint.
- New snow groomers equipped with snow-depth technology to enhance snow conditions across the mountain.
- Newly renovated rental shops to ease the equipment fitting process, including a new elevated boot bridge.
- New Camelback Resort App lets guests connect, recharge and explore Camelback Resort and encourages children and tweens to assist in planning the day’s excitement by organizing itineraries while on-site.
- New Café & Bar La Columbe located at Camelback Lodge: a brasserie-style restaurant with coffee, pastries, sandwiches and salads to-go.
