Camelpup Adventures Launches at Camelback Resort

Year-Round Vacationing in the Poconos for Furry Friends and Their Owners

CAMELBACK RESORT ANNOUNCES CAMELPUP ADVENTURES
Year-Round Vacationing in the Poconos for Furry Friends and Their Owners

TANNERSVILLE, Penn. – Camelback Resort, a short drive from New York City and Philadelphia, has launched Camelpup Adventures – just in time for celebrating National Dog Day on August 26. Now visitors who travel to Camelback all year long for its thrilling outdoor and indoor activities from water adventures at Camelbeach Mountain Water Park and indoors at Aquatopia, to hiking, ziplining, bungee jumping, tubing, skiing, snowboarding, arcade games and so much more can enjoy their leisure experiences with their doggies close by.

Camelpup Adventures provides visitors quality time with their pets while enjoying Camelback Resort, and lets dogs hang out on vacation with their loving families, enjoy fresh mountain air and get plenty of exercise in a fun environment.

When puppers arrive at the resort, they receive a bowl and a treat along with a welcome note. Waste bags are provided at the pet relief location. In doggo lingo, pupperinos (puppies) and woofers (large dogs up to 50 pounds) are welcome. Just a few rules apply: there’s a $150 non-refundable cleaning fee; dogs must be on a leash outside hotel rooms; and dogs are allowed only in select rooms with owners displaying door hanger signs.

Happily, pooches can visit all areas of the hotel except Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark, Camelbeach and the fitness center; and they are allowed outside of Trails End and Berrelli’s food and beverage spots. For daily walks and frolics, the designated pet area is located at the G1 hotel entrance near the fitness center.
