Car Crashes Into School Bus In Naugatuck: Police
Police said there were no passengers on the school bus at the time of the crash.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Wednesday morning crash involving a school bus in Naugatuck resulted in minor injuries, according to police.
According to the department's arrest log, the crash occurred in the area of Rubber Avenue around 8 a.m.
After an investigation, officers determined a Naugatuck resident was driving in the area when their car left its lane of travel and hit the school bus, causing minor injuries, according to police.

There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash, police said.
The resident was issued a misdemeanor summons charging them with failure to maintain lane position, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of motor vehicle registration plates and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
