Cash, Medications Stolen In Burglaries At 2 Naugatuck Businesses: PD

NAUGATUCK, CT β Police are investigating burglaries reported over the weekend at two Naugatuck businesses, during which cash and medications were stolen.
In a Facebook post, police said the burglaries were reported Sunday just before 3 a.m. at Naugatuck Pharmacy and Medical Supply and Stanziale's Country Store, which share a common building on Maple Street.
Investigators determined multiple suspects forced entry through the front glass doors and stole cash and numerous prescriptions and medications. Officers have also retrieved video surveillance footage from both stores, police said.

According to police, similar incidents have been reported recently in surrounding towns, such as Waterbury and Middlebury. Whether or not these incidents are connected remains under investigation.
Police have also provided photos of a suspect's vehicle and a person who police consider a person of interest in this investigation. The photos can be viewed here.
