CCS Continues to Meet the Needs of Students

The onset of Covid-19 changed everything...

That's right, the Annual Dinner was cancelled, but our students' need for education was not.

  • We first made sure our students and families had food.
  • Our teachers immediately transitioned to distance learning models.
  • With our building closed, we began a strong routine of disinfecting.
  • We applied for and received a PPP loan to ensure there was support for our teachers.

The need goes on....

Our country has long struggled to establish an equitable learning system and that inequity will increase. Our families will be disproportionately impacted, both in terms of health and finances. The children could be impacted for years if they fall behind in their education. Education cannot be brought to a standstill.

We have no idea what the immediate future holds, but we do know our CCS family – including you – is strong.

With that strength, we hope school will be open in the fall and we will resume classroom education - though possibly under a much different configuration.

Your support is what makes us strong and it's needed now more than ever.

Your donation can have a much greater impact without the expense of the dinner.

Your donation now will provide masks, thermometers and PPE to keep everyone safe. It will fund increased hours for the school counselor.

You can provide the transition to ensure our children have the tools they need to succeed.
