COMEDY NIGHT TO BENEFIT TWO WATERBURY-AREA ANIMAL RESCUES

Dave Reilly will headline a standup comedy showcase this weekend in support of Brass City Rescue Alliance and Westley’s Wish K9 Rescue.

Elks Lodge #1669, 114 Main St. in Southington, is hosting the show from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9. Doors open at 6 p.m. A cash bar will be available and attendees are encouraged to bring their own food and snacks. Organizers will also be selling raffle tickets for a chance at several prizes.

Tickets are $35 (plus a processing fee) and can be purchased at www.brasscityrescuealliance.org. Tickets will not be sold the door.
