Commercial Bakery Among 23 New Businesses Registered In Naugatuck In August

NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck recorded 23 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry.

Trucking and moving companies and janitorial service businesses were the most common categories, with two filings each.

Among the new arrivals were a smoke shop, a commercial bakery, a residential remodeler and a snack and nonalcoholic beverage bar.

State registration doesn't guarantee a business is open to customers yet; the filing can precede or follow a launch by months.
