Connecticut High School Musical Theater Award Winners Announced

The Connecticut High School Musical Theater Awards announced all award recipients for 2015 on stage, Monday, June 1 at the seventh annual black tie gala at Waterbury’s Palace Theater. The three hour event featured performances by all the Outstanding Actor and Actress nominees, as well as those nominated for Outstanding Production of the Year. The winners are listed below.

A few additional special achievement awards were given out and I will post them as soon as I see them posted online. However, I am certain of one recipient of a special recognition award. Ryan Kennedy was recognized for his role as Young Tarzan in the production of ‘Tarzan’ at Amity High School directed by his parents Robert and Andrea Kennedy, and he graciously accepted the award after appearing in the role for the first performance of the evening.
