The Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra to Host Spring Event and Celebrate its 25th Anniversary

The last performance of “Giulio Cesare in Egitto” is on May 22. It will take place at the Bushnell Center for the Arts in Hartford at 6 p.m. In this particular performance, Rebecca de Almeida will step into the role of Julius Cesar. Olivia Wallace will play Cleopatra.
On June 2, “We The People'': American Immigrant Stories Part II will be performed at the First Presbytarian Church of Hartford at 7 p.m. The second show will be on the 12th of the same month at the New Britain Museum of American Art at 3 p.m. Composer Alex Nakhimovsky and violinist Brunilda Myftaraj perform the world premiere of Nakhimovsky’s “2022 Suite” for Violin and Orchestra. The goal of the show is to highlight the talent of American immigrants in classical music. The “We The People” series is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.
Lastly, please join us for the 25th Anniversary Reception of the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra on June 12 from 6 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. The event will feature musical guests, great food, and great company.
