Cops Search For Suspect In Attempted Naugatuck Shoplifting Case

The incident occurred on Feb. 18 at the Walmart on New Haven Road in Naugatuck.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” Naugatuck police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who tried to steal $700 worth of groceries last month from the Walmart on New Haven Road.

The incident occurred at 8 p.m. on Feb. 18, and the suspect left a AAA sweatshirt in the shopping card when a security guard tried to stop him.
