Cops Seek Suspect In Fraudulent Check Scam In Naugatuck
The woman is accused of using someone else's identification to cash a check at a bank in Naugatuck, according to police.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect from a February fraudulent check case. Click here to view photos of the suspect.
"The female successfully cashed a fraudulent check using the identity information of another person on 2/15 at ION Bank [on] New Haven [Road]," authorities wrote in a statement.
Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to contact Naugatuck police at 203-729-5222, or through the department's Confidential Tip Line at 203-720-1010.
