Coronavirus Waterbury: First Positive Case In City
The first positive COVID-19 case in Waterbury is woman in her late 20s who contracted the virus while traveling overseas, a report says.

WATERBURY, CT — The city's first positive test of a person with COVID-19 is that of a woman in her late 20s, according to a report form WTNH.
The outlet reported that the city's emergency management director confirmed the positive test result. A Patch request for confirmation was not immediately returned.
The woman was "referred by her doctor to get tested at St. Mary’s Hospital" and is self-isolating in her home, it was reported, and is not a case of community transfer as she "contracted the disease overseas."
