Omicron Variant Emphasizes Importance of Vaccination – Griffin Has Your Vaccinations and Boosters

A new wave of COVID-19 infections is here in Connecticut, and COVID-19 vaccines are still the best way to protect yourself from the severe complications of the virus. In recent weeks, the number of Connecticut municipalities reporting high COVID case rates has nearly doubled, making COVID-19 vaccinations and booster shots critical to minimizing the devastating impact the virus can have on our communities.

Griffin Health is offering free, walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations for individuals 12 years and older, pediatric vaccinations for children ages 5-11, and boosters at its COVID-19 Vaccination Centers in:

  • Shelton - 10 Progress Drive
  • Naugatuck - 727 Rubber Avenue

Additionally, starting Fri., Dec. 17, Griffin Faculty Physicians will offer COVID-19 vaccinations for individuals 12 years and older and boosters for individuals 18+ at the following locations and times:

  • Mondays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Griffin Faculty Physicians Primary Care at Quarry Walk, 300 Oxford Rd., Oxford, CT 06478
  • Tuesdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Griffin Faculty Physicians Family Health Care Center, 110 Commerce Dr., Shelton, CT 06484
  • Wednesdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Griffin Faculty Physicians Primary Care of Naugatuck, 131 Bridge St., Naugatuck, CT 06770
  • Thursdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Griffin Faculty Physicians Family Health Care Center, 110 Commerce Dr., Shelton, CT 06484
  • Fridays from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Griffin Faculty Physicians Primary Care at Quarry Walk, 300 Oxford Rd., Oxford, CT 06478, AND from 2-4 p.m. at Griffin Faculty Physicians Internal Medicine of Ansonia, 111 Wakelee Ave., Floor 1, Ansonia, CT 06401
