CT State Community College Offers Extended Enrollment Hours in January
Connecticut State Community College (CT State) campuses statewide will hold extended evening and Saturday enrollment hours for new and continuing students in January. These extended hours are designed to accommodate students who may need to connect with staff outside of regular Monday through Friday business hours to meet with advisors, finalize their schedules, and register for classes in person.
For details on hours, which vary by campus, visit www.ctstate.edu/enroll. For additional information, students can also contact their local One Stop Enrollment Center, www.ctstate.edu/one-stop.
Admissions, registration, financial aid, bursar and advising representatives will be available to work with students during these extended hours. Students can also learn more about course placement and prerequisites for specific classes. In some locations, the campus bookstores may be open for students to buy textbooks and other supplies.
For New Students:
Prospective students who plan to apply to CT State Community College for the first time should start by applying online. Applications for Spring 2025 semester can be
found at www.ctstate.edu/apply. Spring semester credit classes begin Jan. 24.
Free tuition is available for Connecticut residents who are high school graduates, whether from the state or elsewhere. Anyone who first attended college in fall 2020 or later may be eligible, as well. Accessing the free tuition program and any financial aid starts with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov.
The free tuition program is not income-based. All students who plan on attending full- or part-time should complete the FAFSA so they can access the program, even if they do not think they will quality for need-based aid. Program funding is available on a rolling basis; applicants can see if they may qualify at www.ctstate.edu/free-tuition
