CT Teacher Accused Of Leaving Kids At Home While Vacationing Arrested Again: Report
Kerry Caviasca, a teacher at West Side Middle School in Waterbury, was placed on leave after allegedly leaving her kids home alone.
WATERBURY, CT — A Waterbury teacher accused of leaving her children at home while she went on vacation with her boyfriend was arrested again this week in connection to a domestic violence incident, according to a report.
Kerry Caviasca, a teacher at West Side Middle School in Waterbury, was arrested last week after getting into a fight with her ex-boyfriend in January, police told News 12 Connecticut.
The arrest is the second for Caviasca in less than two months. Caviasca was also arrested in January after she allegedly left her two children home alone when she went on vacation in Florida, News 12 reported. Both children were under 12 at the time.

Caviasca was charged with risk of injury to a minor following her first arrest. The Waterbury School District has also placed her on administrative leave, News 12 reported.
