CT Teen, 15, Fatally Shot In New York, ID Released: Reports
A 14-year-old was also shot, according to published reports.
Eric Aitken, 15, of Waterbury, Conn. was fatally shot and another 14-year-old was injured in a shooting in Allerton, New York, according to media reports including WFSB 3 TV.
Police responded to a building on Adee Avenue Saturday night and found one teen with a gunshot wound to his chest and another teen who sustained a gunshot to his arm, WFSB 3 TV reported.
Aitken died at a local hospital. The double-shooting is under investigation.

ABC NY reports that at least three gunshots were fired inside an apartment building, Eastchester Gardens, in the Bronx, NY. The shooting occurred around 6 p.m.
Waterbury Mayor Paul Pernerewski, Jr. said he expresses his "deepest condolences" to everyone who knew Eric, Fox 61 TV reported.

"The loss of a young life, especially one filled with promise, is devastating beyond words, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family as they endure this unimaginable pain," Pernerewski said, via Fox 61, while adding the need for everyone to "address gun violence."
