DEA National Drug Takeback on Saturday
The Naugatuck PD will be on the Naugatuck Green Saturday, Oct. 29th from 10 am to 2 pm collecting any unused/old prescription medications.
Expired, unused or unwanted controlled substances in our homes are a potential source of supply for the increasing abuse of pharmaceutical drugs in the US and an unacceptable risk to public health and safety every day.
#teamNPD will be down on the Naugatuck Green Saturday, October 29th from 10 am to 2 pm collecting any unused/old prescription medications.
The collected medications will be disposed of at an incineration facility that will convert the pharmaceutical waste into clean, renewable energy.
