Decision Made On Monday Classes At Naugatuck Public Schools
Heavy snow is impacting the region Sunday into Monday.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck Public Schools announced Sunday that classes have been canceled for Monday due to inclement weather.
In an announcement posted to the district's Facebook page Sunday, district officials said Naugatuck Public Schools will be closed Jan. 26 due to the ongoing winter storm.
"Safety remains our top priority," district officials wrote on Facebook. "Please stay safe and monitor district communications for updates!"

Some areas of Connecticut have received eight inches of snow already as of Sunday afternoon, and this major storm hasn't even reached its peak yet.
