Decision Made On Tuesday Classes At Naugatuck Public Schools

Naugatuck Public Schools has announced a change in schedule following heavy snow that impacted the region Sunday into Monday.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck Public Schools will have a 2-hour delay Tuesday following a heavy snowstorm that impacted the region Sunday into Monday.

According to the district's Facebook page, schools will operate on a 2-hour delay Jan. 27 "due to weather conditions and to ensure the safety of our students and staff."

Buses will run two hours later than usual, and school will begin two hours after the normal start time for all schools, according to the district.

The weekend storm left piles of snow all across the state, with some areas of Connecticut receiving 12 to 18 inches of snow.
