Detective Charles “Chip” Schofield Retires From NPD
Thank you to Det. Schofield for his dedicated service to Naugatuck and the community.

Naugatuck, CT - Detective Charles “Chip” Schofield retired from the Naugatuck Police Department effective 9/27/19 after 20 years of service.

Det. Schofield had served in numerous capacities during his career including SRO, DARE instructor, child safety seat installation, and recently as a detective in our youth bureau, where he investigated often the worst crimes an officer will see, those committed against children.
The detective posted this comment in response to a slew of congratulations from community members: "Thank you everyone. I truly had a great career and for 20 years I worked along side the best. We should all be very proud of our police department."
