Director of Emergency Management Updates Borough on Storm Cleanup
Fran Dambowsky posted this update early Monday morning on his Facebook page.

Good morning. We are starting day 7 since the start of storm Isaias. As of this writing, we still have 286 (1,7%) power outages in Naugatuck.

While this is an improvement over yesterday, the Unified Command is not backing off on holding Eversource accountable for their lack of action. We continue to operate as if we are in day 1.

Remember that the utility crews from all services have been doing their part, and in many cases risking their lives to get us up and running. We appreciate each and every one of them.
We do share your frustration and will not back off until 100% of Naugatuck residents have power. Please be advised that we are still receiving reports of new instances of trees and wires down. Keep in mind that the storm weakened many trees and some may still be at the point of falling. Please be aware of your surroundings and err on the side of caution.
