Dispute Over Bottle Of Alcohol Leads To Charges: Naugatuck PD

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck man is accused of being involved in a physical altercation over a bottle of alcohol, police said. On March 3 at 10:34 p.m. officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute, police said.

It was discovered through the investigation that Dave Roberts Jr., 42, of East Waterbury Road, was found to be intoxicated when officers arrived on scene, police said. The accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused pushed the victim fighting over a bottle of alcohol, police said.

Roberts was arrested and later released on a $2,500 bond. He is charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal trespass.
