NAUGATUCK, CT - The Naugatuck Public Schools was honored to receive the Bonnie B. Carney Award of Excellence for Educational Communications from the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education.

The district won awards in two categories; the Social Media award for our Naugatuck Public Schools Facebook page and the Special Project Award for our district-wide re-branding project. Both projects were spearheaded by NPS Communication Specialist Laraine Weschler.

In a letter sent to Superintendent Christopher Montini, Senior Staff Associate for Professional Development and Communications for CABE Lisa Steimer notified the district of this honor. The letter was shared at the virtual January Board of Education monthly meeting.
