Donations Needed for Six-Year-Old Naugatuck Boy's Funeral
The boy died due to complications of pre-existing medical conditions.

A six-year-old Naugatuck boy born with Down Syndrome and a large hole in one of the ventricles of his heart passed away on Jan. 23.
The Naugatuck Police Department has been supporting the family through this difficult time, helping them gain support for this incredible little boy.
Although there is no definite answer, the doctors told the family that Mason most likely suffered from a heart attack.

After speaking to relatives, the Naugatuck Police Department learned that the family had just moved to Naugatuck in November and have suffered from financial hardships that include medical expenses from Mason’s previous surgeries.
A Go Fund Me page has been set up to pay for Mason’s funeral and medical expenses.
