Press release

The award-winning Seven Angels Theatre brings ELF: THE MUSICAL, the fantastically funny family show, to Waterbury December 1-17. Book by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin, Music by Mathew Skylar and Lyrics by Chad Beguelin, this holiday season. The show is based on the New Line Cinema movie by David Berenbaum. ELF is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy journeys to New York to find his father and help the jaded city folk remember the true meaning of Christmas. This modern-day Christmas classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner ELF!

Starring Jimmy Donohue as Buddy with a great local cast in this community production. Directed by Semina De Laurentis and Jimmy Donohue with Choreography by Brittany Mulchay.
