Safe Haven has been providing services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault since 1978.  Each year Safe Haven provides emergency shelter to over 100 battered women and 75 children.  We also offer counseling, advocacy and support to another 4,000 plus victims of domestic violence, and 500 adult and child survivors of sexual assault.  The women and children who come to us have most often suffered from years of
physical, emotional and verbal abuse.  Sadly, very often Safe Haven is the only place for them to turn for comfort and safety.  Safe Haven’s mission is to continue to help these women and children live free of abuse and fear.
