Eversource Not Addressing Priority Locations in Naugatuck

The Borough DPW crews have been working around the clock in an effort to make passage safe. They cannot cut, or move trees that are on wires. They must wait until Eversource arrives to ensure that there is no power to the lines.

A priority list was created with input from Public Works, Fire Department, Police Department, Emergency Management & the mayor. This priority list was made with consideration for the safety and security of Borough Residents.

Eversource agreed to address the priority locations. They agreed to contact public works when their crews were going to arrive in town so that DPW would be at their location to assist Eversource.

Eversource did nothing that they agreed to do. Their communication with the Borough was inadequate at best.

At 6:47 pm yesterday I sent an email to the Eversource Liaison for Naugatuck asking for an explanation as to why they did not notify DPW that they were arriving and why they were addressing locations that were not "Priority 1." As of this writing [just after 8am on Friday,] they have not responded.
