News release

We are a week away from preview night on September 18, and the final touches are being put on this beautiful Irish play. Faith Healer, written by Brian Friel (Dancing at Lughnasa) and directed by Kyle Minor, is sure to provoke thoughtful conversations and whet your appetite for beautiful language and poignant tales.

For those of you who are regular attendees at regional theatre productions, you will know that we have a stellar cast. Matt Bogen, Priscilla Squiers, and Bruce Tredwell are sure to draw you in as you try to find the line between fact and fiction, memory and reality.

To add to the excitement, our artistic director, Robin Frome, has arranged for a post-show conversation with Dr. John P. Waters, a specialist in Irish Studies from New York University. This talk-back will take place on Friday, September 26th immediately following the performance.

And, if you want to get in an Irish frame of mind before the show, join us in the Green Room where we are hosting local musicians who will play some traditional Irish tunes. The music starts an hour before the show, so stop in, grab a snack, and imagine yourself on an Irish Coast on a cool autumn night.
