TANNERSVILLE, Penn. – Camelback Resort is the breathtaking scene of glorious autumn leafery, and there are so many wonderful reasons to enjoy its robust fresh air and colorful mountain setting. For daytime and evening, one day or staycay good times – all within hours of New York City and Philadelphia – this mountain playground will be offering Movie On The Mountain Saturday nights in September, thrilling Superman Ziplining, weekend nighttime adventures, a fun-for-all Halloween event and a private Firepit Campfire and S’mores Experience.
Movie On The Mountain Series in September
Every Saturday evening in September at dusk
Everyone loves outdoor movie viewing along with these all-time favorites being screened at Camelback Resort this fall on Saturdays: September 3 “Sing,” September 10 “Cars,” September 17 “The Lion King” and September 24 “Despicable Me.” A perfect evening for friends and family, and there’s no charge.
New “Sky Flyer” Ziplines: Opening on Friday, September 16
Open daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Camelback Mountain Adventures is offering an exhilarating new outdoor experience this fall. It’s the Sky Flyer Zipline – the two longest ziplines in the state of Pennsylvania – where human zippers fly and soar like Superman, way over the Pocono Mountains.

Weekend Nighttime Adventures
Starting on Friday, September 30, and running through October 29 on Friday and Saturday nights only
All regular Mountain Adventures will be available during the daytime, but when the sun starts to set, these special adventures will be available on Friday and Saturday nights, starting Friday, September 30, and running through October 29: Climbing Wall, a unique light-up experience where climbers can choose their adventure by selecting among three types of walls and creating special individualized climbs; New Euro Bungee lets jumpers do flips and tricks or just have a jump under the lights with spine-tingling dance beats; Mountain Coaster takes daring riders through the woods on P.A.’s only Mountain Coaster, with special night lighting; Sunbowl Tubing to enjoy the thrills of snowtubing on an exhilarating lightning-fast path without the snow; and 1,000 Foot Zipline offering the scream-worthy opportunity to race a friend down 1,000’ dual ziplines in the dark.

Happy Halloween Event in the Poconos
Saturday, October 22, Howl O’Ween Doggie Parade from 12 to 3 p.m.; movie will start at dusk
Calling all goblins, ghosts, witches, favorite cartoon characters and action heroes – all are welcome to celebrate and get into the spirit of Halloween at Camelback Resort. At this free event, the Howl O’Ween Doggie Parade will feature agility/rodeo courses for dogs and their owners, pet-centric vendors and an awards ceremony. The parking fee will be donated to a non-profit.
The Halloween movie, “Halloweentown” will be shown, and popcorn, warm and cold beverages will be available for purchase. A treat trail, tote bag coloring, Boo Bar and a costume contest will also be part of the day’s Halloween celebrations.

Yummy S’mores and Cozy Campfires
All ages thoroughly enjoy relaxing at the end of a fun, busy day around comfy private firepits, lounging on Adirondack chairs, taking in colorful mountain views and roasting favorite gooey s’mores. Campfires take place outside Trail’s End Pub & Grille, and quick bites, seasonal cocktails, craft brews and local cider are available.
