Fireworks, Last Day of Water Park, Zombie Night at Lake Compounce

It's the final days of the summer season and Lake Compounce is closing out summer 2022 with a bang!

BRISTOL - It’s the final days of the summer season and Lake Compounce is closing out summer 2022 with a bang! In celebration of Labor Day Weekend, the park will be hosting fireworks shows on Saturday and Sunday at 8:00pm over the lake.

This weekend will also be the final days that guests can enjoy Crocodile Cove Water Park for the 2022 season. Park goers have just three days left to take a ride on the all new water slide, Storm Surge, float down the lazy river, and take a dip in the lake.

Those that want to keep the summer going can enjoy the final dog days of summer during the park’s all new Ales and Tails event September 10-25! Guests can enjoy local craft brews from Thomas Hooker, Stony Creek, Firefly Hollow and more. Plus, the park will be hosting an adoption event every single weekend with local rescues including Dog Star, Meriden Humane Society, and Army’s Legacy.

Then, this October Lake Compounce will reintroduce scary Halloween. To mark the start of the fall season the Hartford Yard Goats and Lake Compounce Amusement Park have teamed up for Zombie Night at Dunkin’ Donuts Park on Friday, September 2. Those that attend Friday’s game should be ready to meet the walking dead and will get an exclusive sneak peek at what’s to come during Phantom Fall Fest.
