The sale takes place during the Annual Car Show and Sock Hop in Prospect. In view of rain and postponement of the show on Sunday, the Sunday date will be rescheduled.

The store has approximately 6,500 books and contains every kind of genre of book, DVDs, CDs and puzzles. Everything with the exception of the vintage book collection will be heavily discounted.
The Friends of the Prospect Public Library raises funds for the Prospect Library. The Friends fund the summer programs and provide the museum passes that residents can use for discount at many attractions throughout the state.
