Future Chef Winner Announced
Fourth-grade students from each of the elementary schools competed to create and cook a recipe reimagining their favorite school lunch meal.
Naugatuck, CT - Congratulations to Callie Walkuski of Western Elementary School, the 2020 winner of the Future Chefs competition with her recipe for meatball dipper.

Fourth-grade students from each of the elementary schools competed to create and cook a recipe reimagining their favorite school lunch meal. The students had an hour and a half to cook their recipe for a panel of judges with assistance from Sodexo USA cooks and the FoodCorps Connecticut volunteer.
Congratulations to the runners-up - Rudy Bush from Hop Brook Elementary School, Austin Durkin from Andrew Avenue Elementary, Abby Hawks from Western, and Chloe Whipple from Salem Elementary School.
