Gairing, Fanzutti Earn Rank of Eagle Scout

Boy Scout Timothy Gairing from Troop 102 in Naugatuck celebrated his rank of Eagle Scout at a ceremony on January 19, 2024. Scoutmaster John Paniati and Master of Ceremonies Joseph Ascencao along with several other leaders, former eagle scouts (including his older brother, Nate), current scouts, dignitaries, family, and friends joined Tim in the celebration of his distinguished achievement, becoming the 133rd Eagle Scout from the troop. Tim’s Eagle project helped Union City Little League by painting decks at the field and installing siding and a door on the shed adjacent to the lower field. He began scouting in 2011 with Pack 115 in Naugatuck, then crossed over to Troop 102 in grade 5, and continues to serve as a part of this active troop.
Troop 102 meets Thursdays 7-8:30pm at the Congregational Church of Naugatuck on Middle Street.

Two boy scouts, Nathaniel Gairing and Robert Fanzutti, from Troop 102 in Naugatuck celebrated their rank of Eagle Scout at a ceremony on June 27, 2021 at Hop Brook Recreational Park. Scoutmaster Joe Ascencao and Master of Ceremonies Kyle Fellows along with several other leaders, former eagle scouts, current scouts, dignitaries, family, and friends joined Nate and Robbie in the celebration of their distinguished achievement. Nate’s Eagle project helped Union City Little League by repairing decks at the fields, and Robbie’s eagle project assisted the Congregational Church of Naugatuck by updating basement facilities to code. Both boys began scouting in 2009 with Pack 115 in Naugatuck, then crossed over to Troop 102 in grade 5, and continue to serve as a part of this active troop.

The troop meets Thursdays 7-8:30pm at the Congregational Church.
