Goshen Players Lines Up Unbeatable Cast for 'It Shoulda Been You'

Who thought this wedding would go off without a hitch?

GOSHEN, CT - 26 February 2018: An incredible cast has been assembled by director Lea Dmytryck and musical director Jim Luurtsema for Goshen Players’ 70 th Spring production. “It Shoulda Been You,” with music by Barbara Anselmi and book and lyrics by Brian Hargrove will bring this amazing ensemble to the stage for eight performances starting April 13 th , 2018.

Welcome to Rebecca and Brian’s wedding! As bride and groom, Jennifer Sokira and Jonathan Zalaski bring huge amounts of experience to the Goshen stage as they spearhead what promises to be the wild ride of their nuptials!

Standing tall next to her sister as the Maid of Honor, Jenny, is the fabulous Juliette Koch, seen lately as Sally in Steven Sondheim’s Follies at the Warner Theatre. Her “co-Maid of Honor,” Annie, is brought to us by Goshen newcomer Laureen Monge.

Of course no wedding could be complete without troublesome parents! The bride’s outspoken, Jewish parents are played by local favorites Colleen Renzullo and Robert Kwalick. The groom’s conservative Christian parents are also forces with which to be reckoned as played by Steve Sorriero and Elyse Jasensky.

Adding to the hilarious mix are Best Man Greg, played wonderfully by Joe Guttadauro (lately of Thomaston’s Cabaret) and the bride’s ex- boyfriend Marty, played by Eric Lindblom, last seen in Goshen in the sold out hit, First Date.
