'Half-Naked' Man Charged At Commuter Lot: Naugatuck Police
Police said they were called to investigate on Sunday evening.
NAUGATUCK, CT β A Shelton man is accused of walking around the Cross Street/Route 8 commuter lot half naked on Sunday evening, Naugatuck Police said.
At 7:15 p.m. police responded to the Cross Street commuter lot for a suspicious person/vehicle. Prior to arrival, police were advised that a "white male was walking around the lot half naked in only a white t-shirt. When officer's arrived on scene, the accused was found in the driverβs seat of the vehicle naked and in possession of illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia," Naugatuck Police said.
Richard Remokitis, 59, of Woodland Park in Shelton, was arrested and is charged with second-degree breach of peace, possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.
