Join us for our unique Holidays show, support Shakespeare in the Litchfield Hills with a matched donation, and vote for an extra sponsorship from Liberty Mutual. From Now Until December 31, Your Support will be Matched Dollar for Dollar up to $20,000

Since 2019, Shakesperience has produced three outstanding Shakespeare in the Litchfield Hills plays -Comedy of Errors in 2019, Twelfth Night in 2021 and A Midsummer Night’s Dream in 2022. These productions were offered FREE to audiences over 5 nights each summer. Many in the community experienced live Shakespeare for the first time; several came back for multiple performances. Even young children watched with rapt attention.

2022 was a particularly difficult time for the arts and certainly for Shakespeare in the Litchfield Hills. Fundraising was curtailed by lingering effects of Covid, and donations were limited by financial uncertainty. As a result, there remains a shortfall which we need to address before planning future performances.

Holidays in Waterbury showcases magical stories from residents all over Waterbury, both new and old. It highlights the cultures and traditions of all the holidays that make up our beautiful Brass City.

From Hannahkah, to Three Kings Day, Feasts of the Seven Fishes, and more! These exciting and fun stories come together to create a performance from our students and community actors that will leave an everlasting memory!

Join us for an unforgettable evening of fun, warmth, and celebration as we share the gift of peace with all of you! And bring a book, a scarf, a pair of gloves, or a hat for our annual book drive as well as Share the Warmth for those in need.
