SEVEN ANGELS KICKS OFF THEIR 29TH MAINSTAGE SEASON WITH HONKY TONK LAUNDRY ON SEPTEMBER 26.

Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury starts their 2019-20 Equity Mainstage season off with the great country musical Honky Tonk Laundry. Written by Roger Bean. Music Arrangements by Jon Newton. The show runs September 26-October 20.
Take a ride to Nashville heaven in this musical from Roger Bean (The Marvelous Wonderettes). When Lana Mae Hopkins hires Katie to help out in her laundromat, they soon find themselves up to their elbows in soap, suds, and cheatin’ heart. Featuring the country music hits of Carrie Underwood, Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline and other female country legends!
This hilarious musical is packed with a country song list that spans decades of classic and contemporary hits from “I Fall to Pieces” and “These Boots Are Made for Walkin” to “Take It Back” and “Wide Open Spaces”. Bring your friends for a great night out with this fun, boot stompin’ country hit musical.

Carlyn Connolly (Lana Mae Hopkins) is thrilled to be making her Seven Angels debut! She was most recently seen as Fraulein Kost in Ivoryton Playhouse’s production of CABARET. Other regional credits include AN AMERICAN IN PARIS (Milo Davenport), WHITE CHRISTMAS (Betty Haynes), HELLO, DOLLY! (Irene Malloy), THE MUSIC MAN (Ethel Toffelmeier, u/s Marian Paroo), and MARY POPPINS (Katie Nanna, u/s Mrs. Banks). Carlyn has performed as a soloist with orchestras in the US, Canada, and across Asia, and is also a founding member of ALWAYS ANDREWS: A TRIBUTE TO THE ANDREWS SISTERS.

Laura Hodos (Katie Lane Murphey) is a singer, actor, improv artist, and cabarista. She was last seen as Katie at Penobscot Theatre Company in Maine earlier this year, where she also performed in HONKY TONK ANGELS and ALWAYS…PATSY CLINE (first of three productions!). She’s been a soloist with the Orlando Philharmonic, the Jacksonville Symphony, the Sarasota Orchestra, and is delighted to have shared the stage with Tituss Burgess, Laura Osnes, Jeremy Jordan, Faith Prince, Davis Gaines, Andrea McArdle, Jason Robert Brown, and Donna Murphy. She’s performed at The Duplex and Don’t Tell Mama in NYC, as well as Radio City and Lincoln Center, and theatres all over the country. Laura was a Cabaret Fellow at the O’Neill Theatre Center with Emmy and Grammy winner, John McDaniel, and has written and performed ten solo cabarets. Dickinson College/AMDA grad; proud member of Actors’ Equity.
