How to Help Fund TYA's 'Mary Poppins'

Each year, the Trumbull Youth Association puts on spectacular shows that involve teens and college students in the Fairfield County area for 46 years. The town and audience members have loved every show, whether it was GREASE or a blast to the past with ANYTHING GOES, or a modern show like THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. However, that almost didn’t happen this year.

This past March, this town teen theatre organization was zeroed out of the town budget proposal. If passed, it would cause the summer program to not occur and the organization to diminish. We, the Trumbull community and teens of the program, fought long and hard. In the end, we were placed back into the budget. Our determination kept this organization alive, and we have been even more determined in fundraising for the show. Now, this organization needs your help, as we don’t have the additional $10,000 needed to fly Mary and Bert in our 46th Summer Musical, MARY POPPINS.

There is a GoFundMe page, where we are collecting donations of any amount to help near our goal to successfully fly Mary and Bert.
