While we feel the State of Connecticut Division of Statewide Emergency Telecommunications will make every effort to ensure that these types of situations do not re-occur, this event demonstrates that the system can have limitations.

We remind citizens to have the Naugatuck PD routine phone number programed into your phones as well as having the number written in a readily available location in the event of an emergency where 911 services become unavailable.

The Routine NPD phone number is 203-729-5221 or 203-729-5222, these lines ring to a voice prompt however selecting #1 will connect the caller directly to a dispatcher.
