Irish Mayor for the Day Announced
Naugatuck icon John W. Ford will be honored at two events on St. Patrick's Day in the borough.
Naugatuck, CT - The Naugatuck AOH & LAOH is proud to announce that this year’s ‘Irish Mayor for the Day’ is John W. Ford. The announcement was posted on Sunday in the St. Francis of Assisi Church bulletin.
Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church will be celebrated on Saturday March 17, 2018 at 9:00 am, followed by a program honoring Mr. Ford in the Church Hall. The LAOH will be serving Irish soda bread, coffee and tea. Special guest will be the Horgan Academy of Irish Dance.
Mayor John W. Ford will also be the guest of honor at a Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner at the AOH Pub, 104 Water St. Lunch 11:30AM—dinners -$10, and sandwiches $8.
