Jesse Eugene Butwell, 41, of Naugatuck, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the devoted life partner of April Millo.

Jesse was born in Waterbury, CT on August 14, 1981, son of Richard A. and Barbara (Garland) Butwell of Middlebury. He was a graduate of Naugatuck High, class of 1999, and earned his Bachelor and Master degree in Business from Southern Connecticut State University. After graduating, Jesse became a police and training officer with the Shelton Police Department where he worked for 15 years. Jesse loved the outdoors and camping, was an avid fishermen and enjoyed spending time with his cherished friends.

Arrangements: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 200 Benson Road Middlebury, CT has been entrusted with the services.
