Landmark Community Theatre partners with Plymouth and Thomaston Recreation Departments to present Mentalist and Entertainer Jon Stetson

THOMASTON: A Powerful Sleight-of-Mind Experience is coming to Thomaston
Have you ever wondered if the person across the room looking at you might know what you are thinking? If the person across the room is mentalist Jon Stetson, there is a good chance he does. Mr. Stetson has been entertaining audiences for over 35 years. President Bush, President Carter, The King of Sweden, Bob Kraft & The New England Patriots, Fortune 1000 organizations,
associations and celebrity audiences have experienced Jon Stetson worldwide.

Who is Jon Stetson? Really. He is a colorful and compelling personality, Jon is part comedian, part magician, part mentalist, and part illusionist. His five appearances at the White House are a testament to the fact that there is no other act like Jon's. He observes people’s patterns and steps inside their heads. He knows what you're thinking, he really does.

Jon served as a guest consultant for the hit CBS television series The Mentalist. The character of “The Mentalist” was partly based on himself. If he looks familiar it may be from one of his many national television appearances. He has performed all over the world in 23 countries.

Mr. Stetson’s program is called “The Stetson Experience”. It is the power and the connection between Mind, Mirth and Mystery. It is an experience such that the audience becomes the true stars of the show. It is often described as a “Unique sleight-of-mind entertainment and mind-to-mind contact.”

The town of Plymouth and Thomaston Recreation Departments have partnered to present The Stetson Experience at the Thomaston Opera House on September 8, 2023 at 8:00 PM. Proceeds from the show will go to help fund their many programs and scholarships. More importantly, it will be a great time for friends and family throughout the area to come together and enjoy a truly unique and entertaining event. This is a family friendly event.

Jon Stetson is no stranger to the Thomaston Opera House and its patrons. He has performed at the theatre 3 times since early 2000s and again as a fundraiser for Project Graduation at the Thomaston High in 2011. He was also hired to perform for the Thomaston graduating seniors at Health Tracks in Bristol in 2019. “We are always excited to welcome Jon Stetson back to the Thomaston Opera House” said LCT Executive Director Jeffrey Dunn. “The audiences love him and every show is unique and entertaining.”
