What: Naugatuck Summer Festival/Fireworks

Where: Old Firehouse Road

When: July 7

Join Naugatuck for some fun, food, fireworks and live music on July 3 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Old Firehouse Road. A rain date is scheduled for July 7.

What: Waterbury Food Truck and Fireworks Extravaganza

Where: Brass Mill Mall

When: July 2

Enjoy over 25 delicious food trucks, including fan favorites like Chompers, Paradise Island, Fried Dough Nation, Sultan Kebab, Low 'N Slow BBQ and Lemonade Grenade, as well as local vendors, face painting and games for the kids.

What: Derby Celebration Of Independence Day

Where: Derby Green, Elizabeth Street

When: July 4

Highlights include an essay contest awards ceremony, a preamble by the Magnificent Brass, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, an awards presentation, a colonial celebration picnic lunch, a spinning and weaving demo and more.
